December 17 at 7:00 p.m.
(6:00 on for Happy Hour)
No demo this month; it's time to party!!  If you want to participate in the gift exchange, bring a wrapped gift (value ~ $20).
From the DC Beltway:
Take Tyson's Corner exit 10-B which will take you onto Route 7 (Leesburg Pike).  Turn left at second stoplight onto Gallows Road.  Make your first right onto Boone Blvd and park in the garage next to Olive Garden
From the Dulles Tollroad:

Take Tollroad east, take first exit for Route 7 (Leesburg Pike).  Continue east on Rte 7.  There is one garage entrance immediately before the restaurant on Rte 7, or turn south on Gallows Road and immediately turn right into the parking area.
  Your CASANOVA 1997 Membership Directory will be passed out on the 17th at the Holiday party.  This will save us some postage money, and will guarantee that your copy gets to you without being crumpled in the mail.  However, if you are unable to attend the Holiday party, please contact me, Sherry Kenney, and I'll see that a copy gets to you in time for addressing Christmas cards, if you so desire.  Quick reminder: Be sure to notify our treasurer, Nanette Henderson, of any changes in your address or phone number.  Although I'm doing the newsletter, Nanette is maintaining the membership roster.

GINGERBREAD HOUSE EXHIBIT

December 15th-30th: 
Enjoy the sights and smells of the 11th annual Gingerbread House Contest and Exhibit. View the wonderful confectionery delights made by children and adults. Categories include: children, junior, adult, or special needs; individual or group; professional or nonprofessional. Exhibit located in the Crowninshield Museum.  Hours are Mon-Sat, 10 - 5; Sun, 12 - 5.
If you're interested in going: Kenmore Plantation & Gardens is located in Fredricksburg, off of I-95, between Washington, DC and Richmond, VA.  Exit I-95 at Rte. 3 East (Exit 130), follow Rte. 3 East and turn left onto William St. at the sixth stoplight. Follow William St. into Fredricksburg. After the third stoplight on William St., take the next left turn on Washington Ave. Kenmore is in the third block on the right.  Parking is available anywhere along Washington Ave.
