When people ask me where I'm from, I usually don't have a quick answer since I've moved around quite a lot and lived several places: Madison, Alabama; Long Island, New York; Merritt Island, Florida; Houston, Texas; Hattiesburg, Mississippi; Nacogdoches, Texas; Lufkin, Texas; San Antonio, Texas; and finally Burke for the past three years. I attended three different colleges, and did finally earn my 5½ year degree--a B.A. in English and Sociology from Stephen F. Austin State University (Nacogdoches, TX). Over the past ten years or so, I've had numerous jobs: waitress, salesperson, cashier, optician, weight-loss counselor, junior designer for an interior decorator, financial clerk, receptionist, secretary, and tutor. I currently work fulltime for Freddie Mac as an administrative coordinator, and occasionally work parttime for my previous fulltime employer, Greenhorne & O'Mara. When I was a kid, I wanted to be a disc jockey when I grew up (goodness knows I talk enough). My goals in life are simple: to make every day a little brighter for those I care about and to never allow myself to get bored.
